uStreamer-Update

I’ve been working very hard on pushing out a new version of my uStreamer application. You’ll notice that I have removed the old version from the download section.  The new version takes full use of the ustream API.

  • User/Channel Search
  • Favorites
  • Single View w/Resize
  • Multi-View (up to 4 streams)
  • Twitter Integration
  • Retrieve User/Channel Information
  • Start Chat (uses default installed IRC client or webchat)

There are limits on daily usage, thanks to ustream! But no worries. I’ve signed up for 10 ustream accounts and received 10 API keys. The keys will be used randomly based on load so that there is never interruption.

Servers:Updates

A few of my sites where down for about 11 hours yesterday. This was due to switching servers. The last 3 applications I’ve released has features of storing users favorites, lists and other data to a MySQL DB.  The DB was reaching in size of over 2gb and was slowing things down elsewhere. Now we are running a dedicated MySQL server that will not effect my other sites.

XtremeRcon:
XtremeRcon was put on the back-burner for a long time. I’ve recently begin development on the software again. I plan on a new beta in the next.

uStreamer:
Tied up with errors dealing with the very poorly written API from uStream.tv I plan on releasing beta 2 directly after beta 1 of XtremeRcon.

Shyster:
Shyster was an anti-cheat application I was working on for BHD(Blackhawk Down). I stopped playing BHD and stopped working on the project. I’ve started work on this project again.

What’s going on?

Nothing! That’s the problem around here! I’m working hard on pushing out uStreamer v2. I’ve put somethings on the back burner. I’ve got a new website that I’m working on. If you are a member here you’ll here it about it in a newsletter. I’ll be doing an interview with a few of the more famous bloggers this month and will be working directly with Joost again. That’s it! Pretty boring around here the last month but plan to spice things up a bit.

uStreamer: It’s still alive!

I’ve recieved tons of emails wanting to know when an update to uStreamer will be available. Soon! I’ve been working personal things the last 2 weeks but I did not forget about uStreamer! The next version to come will support custom skins, Twitter integration(and maybe Ping.FM), Radio Mode and a few other nice features. So stay tuned and check back around this time next week.

uStream Wrapper

I’ve been working on a few uStream.tv applications using the .NET framework. I noticed there are alot of people that are confused on the uStream API provided. I’ve taken it upon myself to wrap the API in a nice and easy to use library. The library is written in C# and VB. I did this so there could be a broader range of use. The wrapper will make use of the entire API and proved comma dilemited or XML results.  I plan to release this soon. This also goes hand-in-hand with my uStream Viewer application.

uStreamer (BETA)

I’ve been working on a new project called uStreamer. This application will cut out the need to use the uStream.tv website. It will allow you to view 1 or more streams at the same time. It supports plugins, scripts, chat and more! It supports video resize and fullscreen mode. I am also working on a new cipher that will try to cut down on lag times.  Download the preview beta here!
