I’ve grown tired of the old theme I’ve been using. So I’ve decided to upgrade a little. Sure, I’ll probably get tired of this design sooner or later too. I’m focusing on changing the content path of the site to more of a social site. I think I’ll use a simple sub-domain for my blog(this). Who knows, anyway, enjoy the new look.

A few of my sites where down for about 11 hours yesterday. This was due to switching servers. The last 3 applications I’ve released has features of storing users favorites, lists and other data to a MySQL DB. The DB was reaching in size of over 2gb and was slowing things down elsewhere. Now we are running a dedicated MySQL server that will not effect my other sites.
XtremeRcon:
XtremeRcon was put on the back-burner for a long time. I’ve recently begin development on the software again. I plan on a new beta in the next.
uStreamer:
Tied up with errors dealing with the very poorly written API from uStream.tv I plan on releasing beta 2 directly after beta 1 of XtremeRcon.
Shyster:
Shyster was an anti-cheat application I was working on for BHD(Blackhawk Down). I stopped playing BHD and stopped working on the project. I’ve started work on this project again.

“Hotlinking” (also called “hot linking”, “leeching”, and “bandwidth theft”) is a term referring to when a web page of one website owner is direct linking to the images or other multimedia files on the web host of another website owner (usually without permission, thus stealing bandwidth). This not only causes the other person to pay for the bandwidth of the hotlinked file, but often is intellectual property theft.
So, for those that are linking to my server, (/thadrew/) you should know that is against the law to link to someone elses server/images/videos or any other content without permission from the content owner. And guess what! YOU DONT HAVE PERMISSION!

I finally got a new video card. It’s been long overdue. I got the GeForce 9800 GX2! Only problem I have had is with my mobo. I’ve got the new Asus quad core mobo coming. That should go well with the 6gb of Kingston HyperX DD3 RAM that I got. All in all I’ve only spent $0.00 on this upgrade. That’s right. $0.00! Thanks to sponsors I haven’t had to pay a penny. I still want to upgrade my SATA HD”s to 2 500GB and I want a new case. I’m thinking about the new Sunbeam Silent Storm. Who knows!
I’m still running XP for now. I just got a new copy of Vista Ultimate to play with. Once I switch to Vista I will be able to rewrite some modules for uStreamer to take use of the Vista WPF platform. Nothing major, just to make it look more presentable. I’m still working on releasing the full version very soon. I have a lot of things to take care of first but I have not forgotten about uStreamer.
You’ll notice that www.semogeeks.com is kind of down. LoL! I changed hosting providers and haven’t got the chance to upload the site. I’ve switched 3 of my 5 domains over and I am hosting 2 domains for my buddy David. Anyway, that’s what’s going on around here.

For the last 3 years I’ve been working on a laptop recovery application/website. The idea is that upon start-up the service reports information to a website. This information includes but not limited to, IP, MAC, Location, recorded keystrokes, ftp capability, remote desktop and more. Why? If your laptop is stolen simply go to a different computer, run the software, connect to your laptop and retrieve needed files. You can even delete files, lock the system down or just watch your thief in action if you have a built in web-cam.
I want this service to be free or very cheap. Problem is it takes money to push out an app like this. Hosting resources are outrageously high these days. Maybe I’ll come across a nice sponsor willing to pitch in the needed $5,000 to get this rolling in the right direction.

I’ve been working on a new project. It’s a mix of MySpace, Twitter, Wordpress, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. It does it all! At first we are offering 250MB space with each new account. The content is unmonitored/uncensored. We are going to exercise our right to 100% freedom of speech! What do you get with a new account?
So, you ask, “Were is this site?”. Well it’s right here!
Take a look, sign up, tell your friends! More features on in the works and we plan on offering custom profiles and music uploads soon!

Today Lisa finally got her divorce. It only cost $195. And thanks to Bobbi, her mother, the divorce was done and over with in less then 3 weeks. Now that that’s over me and Lisa have decided to get married. That’s right.
I used to have a best friend that I thought would be my best man, but he recently has become my worst enemy. So I’ve got my brother, Jon, as my best man. And Lisa has Candice, Ashley and Vickie as her bridesmaids. The wedding will take place in Texas at my relatives ranch. So gotta say thanks to Amy & Jeff, my cousins down there. I’m trying to get them to fly up here and take us all down on their plane.
So, I guess I’ve found something more important then computers, friends and partying. They only thing I can thank my ole pal for is hooking me up with Lisa. So thanks, Andrew!

Nothing! That’s the problem around here! I’m working hard on pushing out uStreamer v2. I’ve put somethings on the back burner. I’ve got a new website that I’m working on. If you are a member here you’ll here it about it in a newsletter. I’ll be doing an interview with a few of the more famous bloggers this month and will be working directly with Joost again. That’s it! Pretty boring around here the last month but plan to spice things up a bit.
